Rooted Rituals Tea Co. is a modern herbal tea brand focused on reconnecting women with daily wellness rituals. The company blends traditional herbal knowledge with contemporary lifestyle aesthetics, offering small-batch teas designed to support calm, clarity, and intentional living.

THE CHALLENGE

The brand wanted to blend herbal and mystic energy into one cohesive identity — grounded but elevated, earthy but intentional. In a category dominated by soft pastels and muted earth tones, standing out without abandoning the warmth of the wellness space was the central tension.

THE APPROACH

We leaned into the competitive landscape as a roadmap for differentiation. Research showed most competitors defaulted to earthy or pastel palettes — safe, expected, and easy to overlook. We grounded Rooted Rituals in the natural greens the category respects, then introduced a rich, unexpected purple as the signature — a color that carries mystic weight without tipping into cliché. The pairing lets the brand belong to the wellness space while clearly standing apart from it. Typography carries the same duality: bold yet feminine, structured yet soft — reflecting the complex personality of a brand that honors ritual as much as it honors rest.

THE OUTCOME

A tea brand that feels both ancient and current, mystical and modern. A visual identity rooted enough to signal tradition, bold enough to claim its own space, and intentional enough to match the rituals it’s built to support.
